My classes are a great entry into movement and learning about your body. There is a movement practice for everyone, breath will be your guide. Don’t be nervous, come out and give it a try.

I came to yoga as a result of a chronic pain related illness over 2 decades ago. It stopped me in my tracks, I was a runner, squash player, a 4 times a week gym lover.  My mess became my message and I haven’t looked backed. Transitioning from the corporate world to bare feet and taking a new path helped me become stronger and eventually pain free.  I now enjoy hiking, Pickleball, and much more.  I never gave up asking questions and being my own champion.   I teach from my heart and my lived experiences.

I am grateful to be able to bring my real life experiences and knowledge to you and help on your journey. I have trained in Hatha, Yin, Therapeutic and Restorative yoga, Pilates, Tune Up Fitness® as well as other modalities including a Pain Management Certification through Stanford University, iRest for PTSD, Meditation and Somatic movement.

My Embodied Movement classes have great emphasis on breath and meditation as well as movement. I teach an eclectic class that includes education; I listen to your needs and that’s where we start,  be it in a private class, semi private or group setting.

I piloted a Deep Athletic Stretch Program in the spring which was very successful. This will become a regular event on my schedule. You will learn how to gain flexibility and maintain it, strengthen weaknesses that are causing constant injuries, in short you will learn how to rehab you and feel the benefits in your activities and your every day. Come as a team, come alone, all athletes are welcome.

I look forward to meeting you, feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like to register. I teach in my home studio, online as well as onsite.

Love……Wendy
