I’M WENDY!
Movement, Meditation & Breath Teacher
I came to yoga over two decades ago after a chronic pain-related illness stopped me in my tracks. A passionate runner, squash player, and gym lover, I had to redefine movement. My mess became my message, and I haven’t looked back. Leaving the corporate world for bare feet and a new path made me stronger—and eventually pain-free. Now, I enjoy hiking, knitting, quilting, and more, always staying curious and advocating for my own well-being. I teach from my heart and lived experience.
I’m grateful to share my journey and knowledge with you. My training includes Hatha, Yin, Therapeutic, and Restorative yoga, Pilates, Tune Up Fitness®, Pain Management (Stanford University), iRest for PTSD, Meditation, and Somatic movement.
My Embodied Movement classes emphasize breath, meditation, and mindful movement. I tailor each session—whether private, semi-private, or small group classes—to your needs.
I also run 6 week programs which are a deep dive into maintaining your body and improving its function.

Blending elements of somatics, yoga, breathwork, and functional mobility, this practice invites you to slow down, feel deeply, and move in a way that honours your unique body.
Through guided awareness, you’ll explore sensation, rhythm, and flow—cultivating presence, releasing tension, and supporting nervous system regulation. This is a space for curiosity, compassion, and inner listening—where the goal isn’t performance, but connection.
These classes run in 4 week sessions ($120). Registration with payment means your space is saved just for you. Make Up classes or Drop Ins are not guaranteed.
All bodies and all levels are welcome. No experience necessary—just a willingness to feel and explore.

OUR RATES
When you commit to moving and learning; your body and mind will love you for it. I repeat this to myself every day. Sometimes it works to motivate me, sometimes it doesn’t. Just like you.

Please note my class sizes are small and for that reason Drop Ins and Make Up classes are not guaranteed or typically available. I do try my best but it’s not always doable. When you register with payment, you are making the commitment to your health, and to attend the current session. All payments are non-refundable and missed classes cannot be carried forward.
